The 6th Pennsylvania Regiment

Presenting a living history of the American Revolutionary War

The American War for Independence was a turbulent time in America's history. Soldiers, young and old alike, risked everything for an ideal called Liberty. The 6th Pennsylvania Regiment played an important role in the events that would unfold during the War for Independence.

From the battles in New York, the defense of Philadelphia, the winter encampment in Valley Forge, and the storming of the British fortifications at Stony Point with "Mad" Anthony Wayne, the brave men and women of the 6th PA endured trials and hardships, as well as victories. The sacrifices they made helped to lay the cornerstone of our new Nation.
